What is The Sandbox For Kids?

We’re an indoor sensory play space designed for children up to ages 10. With real sand, engaging toys, and creative zones, our goal is to spark imagination while offering parents a safe, relaxing space.

We offer free parking and stroller-friendly access.

Absolutely. Our sand is raked, sanitized, and filtered daily. We use Baha Play Sand—silica-free, non-toxic, dust-free, and allergy-friendly. It’s sourced through our partnership with Calcean Minerals & Materials.

What age group is The Sandbox For Kids for?
Our space is best suited for children aged upto 10 years old Crawlers, toddlers, and preschoolers will find the space perfect for their developmental stage.
No. Parent or guardian supervision is required.
Yes. We do not have a lounge. Please stay close to your child while they are in the play zone.
Do I need to book in advance?
The Sandbox for Kids is first-come, first-served for open play. For parties, events, and groups, we have private rooms available for rental.
No. We have private rooms available for rental so you can enjoy a hassle-free party experience, and so other littles can enjoy the main play space! Our private rooms are able to accommodate up to 20 children.

Yes! We offer private rentals for play groups, classes, and sensory-friendly events. Reach out to us for custom options.
How much does admission cost?

General Admission Pricing
1st child = $12 for 1st hour
2nd+ child = $9 for 1st hour

$6 for each additional hour per child. No charge for adults.

Party/Private Event Pricing
90-minute private event, up to 10 kids = Weekday pricing starts at $225, Weekend pricing starts at $275
90-minute private event, up to 20 kids = Weekday pricing starts at $375, Weekend pricing starts at $425

Yes. Monthly memberships and multi-visit passes will be available. These come with perks such as discounts on parties and special event access.

We accept both cash and major credit/debit cards for your convenience.
How often is the sand cleaned?

Our sand is filtered and treated daily to ensure a clean, hygienic play environment. Toys and surfaces are sanitized regularly.

We do not allow socks or shoes in the sand.

This policy ensures that any dirt or materials from outside do not contaminate the sand, allowing us to maintain a clean and worry-free environment for littles and grown-ups alike.

Yes. Every guest must complete a waiver before playing. Sign your waiver online to save time when you arrive.

No. The Sandbox for Kids asks that you not bring your toys from home, as we have plenty of toys to go around!

Can we bring our own food?

Yes! However, please do not bring in cake, cupcakes, ice cream, or party-style refreshments for open play.

For parties, hosts are welcome to bring in food (such as cake, cupcakes, or ice cream!), drinks, and decorations for the private room that has been reserved.

*Please do not bring food or beverages directly into the play zone. We want to keep the sandbox clean for everyone!

We proudly serve Toledo’s own Actual Coffee, offering brewed drinks, espresso, and specialty lattes.

Yes! We have coffee, sodas, juice, snacks, and candy available for purchase.
