By booking, purchasing, or participating in any party, open play session, membership, or event at The Sandbox for Kids, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Bookings & Payments

All bookings and purchases must be paid in full at the time of checkout. Payments are processed securely through Square. Your reservation is not confirmed until payment is successfully completed.

Prices, packages, and availability are subject to change and cannot be adjusted retroactively.

Parties – Timing & Late Fees

  • Party times are reserved in advance and start and end promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Late departures may disrupt the next party and staff schedules.
  • A late/overtime fee will be charged to the card on file if your party exceeds its scheduled end time.

Overtime Rate: $25 after 10 minutes, charged automatically via Square.

Guest Count, Extra Children & Capacity

  • Party packages include a base number of children as stated at booking.
  • You may bring up to the maximum number of children allowed per party.
  • Additional children beyond the base package are charged per child and are payable at check-in or automatically charged to the card on file.

Failure to disclose the correct number of children may result in additional charges or shortened play time.

Open Play Policies

  • Open Play is offered on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.
  • Capacity limits apply for safety and comfort.
  • Admission is non-transferable and non-refundable once checked in.

Memberships

  • Memberships are valid only for the registered child(ren) and household.
  • Membership benefits, pricing, and access rules are subject to change with notice.
  • Memberships are billed automatically through Square based on the selected billing cycle.
  • Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

  • Cancellation or reschedule requests must be made within the stated cancellation window at booking.
  • No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds.
  • Late arrivals may result in reduced play or party time without adjustment to price.

Refund Policy

  • All sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing by The Sandbox for Kids. Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at management’s discretion.

Failed Payments & Authorization

By completing a booking or membership purchase, you authorize The Sandbox for Kids to:

  • Store your payment method securely via Square
  • Charge for approved add-ons, extra children, overtime, or damages
  • Reattempt failed payments for memberships or balances due

Failed payments may result in cancellation of future bookings, suspension of membership benefits, or additional collection attempts.

Conduct & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest or participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate, without refund.

Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behavior of their children at all times.

Communication Consent

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive transactional emails and SMS messages related to your booking, membership, or visit (confirmations, reminders, receipts, and policy notices). You may opt out of marketing messages at any time.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting The Sandbox for Kids may result in account restrictions. All chargebacks will be disputed with Square using booking records, timestamps, policies, and signed acknowledgments.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sandbox for Kids is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in activities or use of our facilities.

Updates to These Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most current version.
